Free AI Detector and Checker
This free tool for AI text recognition helps you detect AI-generated content made by LLMs like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. The AI scanner checks whether the entered text was AI-generated or rewritten by finding statistical AI patterns.
Detect AI Text Without Waiting
Insert any paragraph - or even an entire essay - into the input field and press the "Check Text" button.
In a few seconds, you will receive an assessment of how strongly the entered text resembles machine-generated content.
The tool works faster, more accurately, and more honestly than most other detectors.
Pro Tip: More text increases accuracy.
What does AI similarity mean?
AIscan24.com deliberately talks about "similarity," as it is impossible (and unprofessional) to give a 100% accurate probability. It is possible with any AI Detector that human-written sentences are detected as AI-generated - and/or vice versa. Because there is by design a very large overlap between human and robot language.
Guidelines for AI Similarity:
- <33%: Rather human
- ~50%: Rewritten or mixed
- >66%: Rather generated
Handwritten texts usually end up below 33%, while machine-generated texts are often above 50% - depending on how much they were improved or rewritten after generation. Texts over 66% are relatively likely to contain some form of AI support.
How does AI detection work?

Scanner tools for checking robot prose, like AIscan24.com, look for writing patterns, repetitions, and filler words that characterize the writing style of Large Language Models (LLM).
There are also some phrases and words that AIs like GPT like to use very much - but a human does not.
AI Detection - with maximum data protection
We do not store any entered texts and do not send them to third parties. Inputs are not used for training an LLM. The entered text is evaluated on a German server and immediately deleted after evaluation. All data is, of course, transmitted encrypted.
Questions and Answers
How reliable are AI detectors?
They can only give an estimate. Machine-generated texts do not contain "watermarks" or other unique identifying features. However, there are statistical differences from human language, such as certain word and phrase repetitions. In addition, there are preferences for unusual formatting that expose the robot text.
How can one find out if something was written with AI?
With a tool, like this one. 😉 However, if human writing mixes with the generated, it quickly becomes difficult to make a clear judgment. When in doubt, you can ask for the document history, which shows the course of editing - i.e., when, where, and how a document was created.
Can the use of AI be proven?
Clear proof is not possible.
Are AI detectors legally binding?
No. They only give an estimate. Some better, some worse.
Are AI detectors reliable?
There are good tools - like AIscan24.com 😉 - that analyze many parameters of a text to produce a defensive result. This avoids false-positive judgments. Unfortunately, there are also black sheep who want to immediately detect 100% AI because of individual words or phrases. They often offer a tool that is supposed to bypass detection. Better avoid these sites.
